A few of the folks decided to ride to New France. It is an old community behind Weymouth,NS. They used to have electricity that powered a sawmill and the small community that surrounded it. 
This is the lake you pass before you get to New France. Very nice with a soft sandy style beach.

Used to be an area where you could sit down and read about New France, but it seems to be in disrepair. Too bad.
